Cardiff West District was established on 1st January 2017. It currently supports 9 Scout Groups, 2 Explorer Units, a Young Leaders Unit and a Network.

About us

Cardiff West District was established on 1st January 2017. It currently supports 8 Scout Groups, 2 Explorer Units, a Young Leaders Unit and a Network.

We have groups based in Cregiau, Radyr, Ely, Pentrebane, Grangetown, Pontcanna, Llandaff and Butetown.

Our Explorers meet in Cregiau and Pontcanna.

Our District supports over 660 members.

Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers, and it's for everyone. We go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. We make friends, have fun, play games, and work in teams.
